Rubber expansion joints are flexible elastomeric connectors that accommodate movement while helping isolate vibration and reduce noise in liquid and selected process piping systems. They are widely applied around pumps, chillers, heat exchangers and other equipment where compact flexibility is required.

The rubber compound, reinforcement, arch profile, pressure class, flange arrangement and restraint hardware must be matched to the medium, temperature, pressure, vacuum, movement and installation environment. VT Top Engineering coordinates these requirements for standard and customised replacement applications.
